  • 2010 – 20 release pick by Eric Wirjanata

    in no particular order

    Jirapah – Digital 7″ vol.01
    Sajama Cut – Manimal
    EGRV – Power On/Power Off
    Vickyvette – Into the Universe
    Gunver – Wonders of Englightenment
For the Flames Beneath Your Bridge – LXX.VII
White Shoes & the Couples Company – Vakansi

Silahkan lengkapi sisanya di kolom komentar biar sampai 20 🙂 jangan lupa masukan rilisan dari Holliwood Nobody, Frau, Homogenic, the Wispy Hummers dan Sarasvati

  • Gunver – Wonders of Enlightenment

“… I feel the sand, taking a while raising a smile
Time, cover lies without a word…”

  • Bad Dads

    Rated By : Nadia Rachel

    1. Bad Dads
“Bad Dads” is a tribute show from Spoke Art to the films of Wes Anderson (as every Wes Anderson film seems to have characters with family issues, notably father issues.) There’s not much we can say right now other than the artist list is looking amazing. Over 60 artists have confirmed for this show and they also provide a ton of affordable prints as well as some great original art available at the opening as well as online. For those who still have no idea who Wes is, well to be honest you got far left behind. Wesley Wales Anderson (born May 1, 1969) is an American film director, screenwriter, actor, and producer of features, short films and commercials. He was nominated for a 2001 Academy Award for Best Original Screenplay for The Royal Tenenbaums. Anderson has been called an auteur as he is involved in every aspect of his films’ production. His films employ a similar aesthetic, employing a deliberate, methodical cinematography, with mostly primary colors. His soundtracks feature early folk and rock music, in particular classic British rock. Anderson’s films combine dry humor with poignant portrayals of flawed characters – often a mix of the wealthy and the working class. He is also known for working with many of the same actors and crew on varying projects.

  • Prins Thomas-Prins Thomas (Full Pupp,2010)

    Rated By Regan

After a number of collaborations with fellow Norwegian Hans-Peter Lindstrøm and more remixes than Alex Ferguson has trophies, Prins Thomas releases his first full-length solo album of balearic disco. All is dreamy lethargy here, bar the odd outbreak of sequenced squelching, there to remind us that this is electronic dance music and not an experimental Chris Rea side-project. Melody and groove are secondary, and as for conventional song structure – forget it, because everything gets lost in an echoey miasma. Despite all that, the compositions do retain the capacity to beguile – if you have the time to let them.
