The legendary star will perform a one-night-only show live on 10 August 2014, 7 pm, at the University Cultural Centre (UCC), NUS. The show is part of his Guilty As Charged tour.
Fans will also get to show off their very own comedy skills, as LA Comedy Live will be running a standup competition – On Stage with Steve-O. The grand prize will win the chance of a lifetime to perform onstage as Steve-O’s very own opening act.

Brought to you by LA Comedy Live, audiences will also get to experience a little local flavour at the show, which is the only Southeast Asian stop to date. Endorsed and supported by the legendary Steve-O himself, LA Comedy Live will hold a month-long standup competition – On Stage with Steve-O – to discover aspiring local comedians. Interested participants must record a one-minute video of their best standup act and submit it via the online competition tab on the LA Comedy Live Facebook page (www.facebook.com/lacomedylive). The competition will go live on Facebook today, 10 June 2014.

The top three participants whose video submissions garner the most ‘likes’ will then need to perform an original routine at the live final showcase. This will be held on 1 August 2014, with the venue and time to be announced later. The grand prize winner will be selected by a team of expert judges and will win the chance of a lifetime to perform his or her original routine as Steve-O’s opening act.

Said Steve-O, “I’ve lived a crazy life, in fact, it’s amazing I’m still alive! I’m so grateful to be coming to the UCC to share my insane and unbelievable life with my fans in Singapore. I’ll be ready to do crazy things for all of you, and I can’t wait!”

He also shared his thoughts on the standup competition, saying, “lf you aren’t super talented, very professional and armed with a ton of material, it is a long time to be onstage. The winner of this contest needs to prove that they can handle it.”
